The New York Artisans Collective (NYAC) is a group of Queens and Long Island based crafters, artisans, and artists (we hardily welcome all New York crafters, artisans, and artists, however) who have come together to foster an appreciation for handmade crafts and art in the New York area. We intend to promote all local artisans throughout the city and we aim to do this by organizing events, creating promotional networks, and working with businesses and community organization to increase awareness and educate New York residents about the world of wonderfully handmade and local goods and gifts available to them right in their own backyards.
